The A Frame is located on a small island about 100 feet from shore in front of the Main Lodge. It has a dock for a power boat which also has a diving board that faces the lodge. In front of the A Frame has a floating dock used for sun bathing, canoes and small boats.

The house faces due south and receives sun all day. It features a full kitchen opened to the living / dining area with a fireplace, a wood stove, a futon sofa and bath. There is a large covered porch and deck that wraps around three sides of the A Frame. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a deck that wraps around three sides of the house. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has two twin beds. The front bedroom has a lovely view of the lake while the back bedroom sits high among the trees.
